UK Prepared to Employ Immobilized Russian Holdings to Support Ukraine's Military Campaign

The UK is ready to advance with employing the entire amount of frozen Russian holdings to support Ukraine's war effort, Leader Sir Keir Starmer has stated.

In a joint statement, the heads of state of the UK, France, and Germany asserted that this joint measure would heighten pressure on Russia's leader Vladimir Putin and urge Russia to engage in negotiations.

They clarified that the initiative would be executed in tight collaboration with the America.

UK restrictions have blocked more than £25bn of Russia's resources since the Russian government launched its widespread offensive against the Ukrainian nation in 2022.
